Our Mission
At Therakidz, we provide a supportive and inclusive space for individuals with unique learning needs.
We combine evidence-based practices with a culturally sensitive approach to ensure every learner is valued and empowered. Our goal is to help individuals of all ages reach their full potential through personalised support, scientific excellence, and a strong sense of community. Inspired by the African values of togetherness and resilience, we are committed to fostering growth, inclusion, and meaningful contributions to society.
About our Program
Our Approach
We specialise in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals develop essential life skills, communication, and adaptive behaviours through structured, individualised programs. Within ABA, we also use Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT)—a naturalistic approach that targets key developmental areas, such as motivation, self-initiation, and social engagement, to promote meaningful and lasting improvements.
Beyond behavioural interventions, we integrate elements of Occupational Therapy (OT) to support fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities. Additionally, we provide support for the development of speech by focussing on developing communication skills, articulation, and social language abilities, ensuring that each individual can effectively express themselves.
