About our Program

A Brief Overview

We specialize in the treatment of developmental challenges including but not limited to Autism and other related developmental disorders and delays. We employ a one-on-one teaching methodology founded on the principles of Applied Behaviours Analysis (ABA).

Furthermore, we incorporate evidence-based elements of naturalistic teaching from Pivotal Response Treatment, as well as elements of Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy methodologies.

Upon completion of a functional assessment, a program is devised, The program is administered by trained therapists, on a frequent schedule of sessions, with the goal being to enhance current skills and remediate any potential obstacles to learning and independence. Interim supervision is provided which entails on-going program monitoring, maintenance and progression. Additional training and support to the therapist is also provided.

Caregiver and parent training is also recommended for broad consistency to ensure speedy progress. In addition to providing skill acquisition programs, a behaviours intervention plan is developed, in order to decrease instances of any challenging behaviours like tantrums, aggression or property destruction,  that may be occurring as an inappropriate means of communication.
